Breakfast is leverage. Front-load protein here and you flatten the appetite and the glucose swings that follow for hours — fewer mid-morning cravings, a less brutal afternoon. Start the day on a coffee and a pastry, by contrast, and you spike early, crash by mid-morning, and spend the rest of the day chasing the blood sugar you lost. The first meal quietly programs the rest.
It also does practical work toward your number. Hitting 30 grams of protein at breakfast gets you a third of the way to your daily target before noon — which makes the rest of the day's distribution far easier to manage.
